Dorian Wandzura Biography
Dorian Wandzura is the General Manager of the Public Works Division.
Dorian rejoined the City of Regina in 2009 as the General Manager of the Public Works Division. During his 15 year career, Dorian has served in increasingly responsible capacities in a number of Saskatchewan municipalities including Yorkton, Moose Jaw, Regina and Saskatoon.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Dorian was educated in Saskatoon, graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Aside from the professional responsibilities in Dorian’s career, he has assumed a number of leadership positions in both professional and community organizations. Over the course of 1998 to 2004, Dorian served in the capacity as President of the Saskatchewan Public Works Association and the Canadian Public Works Association. Outside of his profession, Dorian has brought his leadership abilities to community associations by holding the position of President of Skate Moose Jaw for a number of years, one of the Skate Canada figure skating organizations within the province of Saskatchewan.
In assuming leadership of the Public Works Division, Dorian is excited to be bringing a diverse senior leadership background back into the City of Regina to ensure that the City of Regina is recognized as the best run municipality in Canada.
