Ward 4 – Councillor Michael Fougere

Councillor Michael Fougere is sitting for his fifth term on Regina City Council, representing the residents of Ward 4 located in southeast Regina. He is president of the Saskatchewan Construction Association. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from St. Francis Xavier University, and a Masters of Science degree from the London School of Economics.

Councillor Fougere's family includes his wife Cindy and their children, Thomas, Kristen, and Lucas. He has been involved in many community activities, including president of the Home and School Association at his children's school. He has also coached soccer, baseball, and basketball and has managed a local hockey team.

Currently, Councillor Fougere is serving on the following boards and committees:

• Regina Planning Commission
• Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association, Board of Directors
• Sherwood-Regina District Planning Commission
• Wascana Centre Authority

Councillor Fougere has previously served on the board of directors for Tourism Regina and the Canadian Western Agribition.
