Ward 5 – Councillor John Findura

Councillor John Findura is sitting for his first term as a member of Regina City Council, representing the residents of Ward 5.

Councillor Findura immigrated to Canada in 1976. He graduated from Miller Comprehensive High School prior to joining the Canadian Naval Reserve. Currently he is a service technician with a locally-owned company. Councillor Findura is married to Shelley and they have three children, Stephanie, Julie and Scott. They have lived in Ward 5 since 1995.

Councillor Findura works with a number of community organizations such as: St. Catherine's Catholic Community School Parent Association, Regina Multicultural Council, St. Anthony’s Parish, Regina World Cup Soccer, and the Polish Canadian Cultural Club.

Currently, Councillor Findura is serving on the following boards and committees:
