Private Swimming Pool Bylaw No. 2004-81

The Private Swimming Pool Bylaw No. 2004-81  lists various regulations, including those associated with:

• the construction and demolition of private swimming pools and hot tubs
• the building permit fees and safety features that must be in place such as fencing and life safety equipment.

If you are building a swimming pool, you will require a building permit (hot tub owners do not need a building permit as long as they meet the requirements identified in the bylaw.)
