When restoring your heritage property, you must obtain a building permit and demonstrate that the proposed changes will not affect its heritage value.
To help you plan your exterior alteration, repair, addition or restoration of your heritage property, read the Regina Heritage Design Guidelines (Note: Large file over 2 MB.) These guidelines have been written specifically to reflect Regina’s architectural styles.
As well, you may qualify for a tax incentive if you are restoring your heritage property.
