Street & Sidewalk Closures

If you wish to do something that will disrupt vehicular or pedestrian traffic, you must obtain a temporary street use permit to close the street or sidewalk.

To apply

To apply for a temporary street use permit to close a street or sidewalk, you must:

1. Contact Traffic at least 14 days in advance of the requested closure date to discuss your request with staff.
2. If staff determine the street/sidewalk can be closed for your request, they will ask you to fill out a temporary street use application form  so a permit can be issued.
3. Include your permit fee with your application.
