Join Your Neighbourhood SnowFighters

Building on our community spirit, the City of Regina has started a new SnowFighter campaign. The campaign is intended to encourage Regina residents to shovel snow and ice from their sidewalks to create a safe path for all pedestrians.

Seniors, people with disabilities and people with health issues may not be able to shovel snow. There are also people that need snow removed in order to do their jobs such as postal workers or meter readers. Please keep this in mind the next time you are out shovelling and lend a hand to a family member, neighbour or friend in need this winter.

Do you have a SnowFighter? Many citizens already help one another out. Have you ever came home from work and noticed your neighbour cleared your sidewalk and driveway? Or maybe you were sick and a friend or family member cleared your snow. Say thank you and provide a SnowFighter card to let them know their help was appreciated.
