Explore Seniors' Programs

The City of Regina offers several programs for older adults in its Leisure Guide.  The City also supports the Regina Senior Citizen's Centre in providing programs and services to the senior residents of Regina.

The centre has many programs including exercise, cribbage, bridge, whist, social dancing with live bands, shuffleboard, snooker, choir, creative writing, pen & ink, painting, ceramics, computer class and others. Most programs are either free or very low-cost.

The City of Regina supports and partners with various community organizations to offer programs targeted to seniors, including:

  • Senior's Physical Activity Sampler The Senior Physical Activity Sampler is a half day of senior active living program demonstrations held once a year at various sites in Regina
  • The Senior's Active Living Guide Regina's Senior Active Living Guide contains information on many active living programs operated throughout Regina. This guide is a joint effort of many organizations, including the City of Regina.
  • Laugh & Splash Family Swim & Out & About Adult Club These 2 recreation programs offered by the City of Regina are enjoyed by both seniors and persons with a disability.
  • Supporting Retirement Program This program is targeted towards older adults with intellectual disabilities. For more information call 306-525-2154.
