Project Description

The applicant proposes to develop a planned group of 44 two-storey townhouse dwelling units on the subject property.

The proposed dwelling units would be contained within a total of twelve buildings with between two and five units each. All units include an attached single vehicle garage, and there are eleven outdoor stalls that will be reserved for visitor parking.

In addition; all of the driveway approaches to the garages meet or exceed the minimum dimensions established for conventional parking stalls, under the Zoning Bylaw.

The developer intends to apply for condominium plan approval to enable the sale of individual dwelling units.

The review process

The City gathers comments from 'interested parties' including nearby residents or property owners, which it addresses in a report to the Regina Planning Commission.

Generally the role of the Regina Planning Commission is to recommend that City Council approve, usually subject to conditions, or deny the proposal. City Council then considers the recommendation of Regina Planning Commission and approves or denies the proposal.
