East Regina Industrial

The City of Regina has prepared a plan for land north of Glencairn and east of Ross Industrial. This land is currently used for agricultural purposes and intended for future industrial development within the City's Official Community Plan.

The Secondary Plan for East Regina Industrial provides guidance for future planning and development of the area. Details of the secondary planning process are contained below:

The City of Regina organized a public information session on June 29, 2010 at the Glencairn Rec Centre to give the public a chance to learn about the project. Thank you to those who attended the info session or provided feedback. The proposed plan was changed to reflect what we heard.

The proposed plan was considered by the Regina Planning Commission (RPC) on September 8 and forwarded to City Council for approval on October 4. RPC recommended that the plan be forwarded to City Council for approval. The plan received final approval from the Province of Saskatchewan on January 7, 2011.

A special thank you to those who dedicated their time and efforts to the creation, refinement, and completion of Regina’s first comprehensively planned industrial area.
