Apply for the Watershed Stewardship Award
The City of Regina awards $1,000 each year to an individual, group, organization, agricultural producer or urban/rural resident involved in visionary projects to protect the Wascana Creek watershed and its source waters. (See map below)

Eligibility criteria
Your project must be located in the Wascana Creek watershed, east of Regina's city limits and upstream of Wascana Lake. Your project should help protect source waters from pollution and be replicable.
The type of innovative and progressive projects that may qualify you for this award include:
- Reducing chemical use
- Decommissioning of an abandoned water well
- Creatively managing buffer strips along creek
- Closing unlicensed landfills
- Re-vegetating or conserving riparian areas
