Written by the Grade 4 class St. Peter’s Elementary School, the music and the lyrics of this song were originally a poem. As part of a contest held by the Wascana Centre Authority the students decided to add music to their poem. These creative kids chose the notes and the key, and created a melody. The whole process took about a month with students involved in every aspect. With an average age of 9, these students then created a storyboard, and shot the video in Wascana Park with the help of the RCS Video/Photographer. The day long video shoot was a success. The video celebrates life in Wascana park and its ability to inspire and uplift.
