Real-time bus schedule pilot project on now

Regina Transit is pleased to partner with Communities of Tomorrow and local company CRL Engineering on a TransitLive research and development pilot project. TransitLive provides transit users with real-time bus schedule information.

The City’s participation in the pilot is part of our commitment to serve as a Living Lab for innovative municipal solutions. All 106 transit buses will be part of a TransitLive trial that will run from January 30, 2012 to December 31, 2012.

Residents are invited to help test the system and share their thoughts. To provide feedback on the pilot project, please phone 777-7000 or email serviceregina@regina.ca.

Residents can track their bus to find out when it will arrive at their bus stop any of the following ways:

Look online

Send a text

  • Text the bus stop number to 596-6136 to receive a text in seconds with the time the next bus will arrive.

Call 777-RIDE

  • Select option 1 and enter the bus stop number.

Residents can also sign up for daily alerts for a specific bus by visiting transitlive.com. These alerts will let riders know when the bus is close to the stop.
