Discover, Create, Play: A rewards program for kids 12 years old and under
The City of Regina and several partners have joined together to create a fun line-up of summer activities that kids are rewarded for participating in. As part of the program, kids win instant prizes and are entered to win one of 2 grand prizes, a Wii Console package. Many programs are free or low cost at indoor and outdoor locations throughout the city from mid June to the beginning of September.
Each participant receives a Summer Activity Pass to collect stamps at participating venues. Six stamps complete an Activity Pass earning an instant prize and a chance to win the grand prize. Grand prize draws are July 30 and September 17. Kids are encouraged to complete as many passes as possible.
Program partners include Regina Transit, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Co-operators Centre and the Regina Public School Board and Regina Catholic School Division.
The flyer and activity pass have been delivered to children in the public school system, posted online by the separate school system and will be available through City facilities and all partner venues. For more information, visit Regina.ca or call 777-PLAY (7529).
