Call centres to use new technology

The City of Regina’s main customer call centre will implement a new software system featuring Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) on December 7, 2011. The City will be using this new software which will speed up call waiting times and provide information options to better serve its customers.

Christmas tree drop-off depots open January 7

After the holidays are over, treecycle your old Christmas tree by taking it to one of five drop-off locations located throughout the city. The City is treecycling by collecting Christmas trees and recycling them to produce mulch. The mulch will be offered to residents in the spring as part of the City’s Tinsel Mulch Program.

Equipment has been prepared for winter operations and is available for this weekend. Snow fencing will continue to be installed over the next couple of weeks.
