Stadium MOU report to be considered at Executive Committee
Two reports related to the Regina Revitalization Initiative will be considered by Executive Committee at the July 18 public Executive Committee meeting.
One report is regarding approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Province of Saskatchewan, the City of Regina and the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club. The MOU provides a funding framework and budget for the stadium project. The second report outlines a communications plan for the initiative.
This meeting is open to the public and the Committee will hear verbal presentations from anyone who wishes to speak to this matter.
Unless the reports are tabled or referred by Executive Committee, they will be forwarded to the July 23 City Council meeting.
Anyone wishing to address Council must submit the following to the City Clerk by
1:00 p.m. Monday, July 23 (extended deadline for this report):
- A letter requesting permission to appear before City Council;
- A copy of their presentation (i.e. brief) which sets out the full text of their presentation and the request being made of City.
