Proposed Bylaw No. 2012-15 (#5)
Amendment to Regina Zoning Bylaw No. 9250 – Chapter 19-Zoning Maps (Map No. 2293).
Consideration is being given to rezone the property as shown on the map published herewith as follows:
Legal Address: Surface Parcel #164631944
Block R, Plan 01RA26566, Ext. 0
Surface Parcel #111540136
Block K, Plan 80R16331, Ext. 1
Civic Address: 5939 and 6121 Rochdale Boulevard
Current Zoning: PUD (MU) – Planned Unit Development (Mixed Use) and MS – Main Street
Proposed Zoning: MS – Main Street
Reason: The applicant proposes to amend the zoning boundaries to correspond with proposed amended property boundaries. Proposed Parcel K1 is currently occupied by the Regina Public Library. The applicant does not intend any physical changes to the property as a result of the subdivision and rezoning, but the revised property boundaries would contain all parking facilities for the library to the rear of the building and open plaza space adjacent to Rochdale Boulevard.
