Taxing Authorities in Regina
The City of Regina is required by law to collect property taxes for these other taxing authorities when collecting its own property taxes:
- Regina Board of Education (Public School Board)
- Regina Catholic School Board
- Regina Public Library
Properties located in Regina's Dowtown and in the Warehouse District pay an additional tax as they are part of a business improvement district (BID):
Your property tax notice, mailed to you by the end of May each year, identifies how much money is collected on behalf of these local taxing authorities.
