Brent Sjoberg Biography

Brent Sjoberg is the General Manager of Corporate Services.

Brent joined the City of Regina organization after a 16-year career with DirectWest, beginning in 1991 as a Financial Analyst, working his way up in the corporation with increasingly senior level positions including Chief Financial Officer, Subsidiary President and to the position he currently held as Vice President – Corporate Development.

Brent was born in Moose Jaw and in 1991 completed his Accounting Diploma through the SIAST co-op program while working as a Staff Accountant with Ernst & Young and KPMG. In 1995, he earned his CMA. Brent has been active in the Regina community, as a current RREDA Board Member and Chair of its Business Investment Committee, as well as Past-President of the Regina Chapter of Financial Executives International.

Brent brings over 11 years of senior-level management experience in the directory and media industry providing expertise in leadership and direction for financial, corporate services, business development, human resources, strategic planning and operational functions. Brent is a dynamic and committed executive with a solid track record, and strong leadership skills.
