Regent Par 3 Redevelopment

Community Engagement

The City of Regina is exploring options for the redevelopment of the Regent Par 3 Golf Course. We are in the early stages of doing this and no decisions have been made. Through community engagement, we are seeking your input to assist in determining recreational opportunities and housing development for the golf course.

We will be offering you several opportunities to provide your feedback throughout the engagement process. Below we have listed upcoming and past engagement sessions. Stay tuned.

The results will help guide the creation of several options for the redevelopment of the Regent Par 3 Golf Course.  These options will be brought back to the community for their review and further comment in spring 2018.

This project stems from the Recreation Facility Plan 2010-2020 and a motion made by City Council. The complete planning process for the site is expected to take about one to two years.

Upcoming Fall 2017 Engagement

We’re inviting you to provide feedback on redevelopment of the Regent Par 3 Golf Course site.

  • Online Form October 5 to October 18, 2017

Join the discussion! Please take some time to share your opinions by completing our online feedback form by October 18.

We recommend you review our presentation from the October 4 workshop to get information to help you complete the form.

Community Workshop October 4

We hosted a community workshop at the The Gathering Place gymnasium from  7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to get your feedback and to encourage discussion. During the workshop, we provided background information and then offered the public an opportunity to work in smaller groups to share ideas on the kinds of housing and recreational facilities they would like to see on the site.

Spring 2017 Engagement

The City invited the public to explore options for outdoor recreational facilities and housing development on the Regent Par 3 Golf Course site in spring 2017. We've analyzed your feedback and we're sharing it with you. The Regent Park Par 3 Redevelopment Community Engagement Report (June 2017) outlines findings and includes comments that people provided.

We gathered your feedback from the following engagement activities:

  • Online Form May 26 – June 16, 2017

Between May 26 and June 16, 2017, people had an opportunity to share their feedback online and to join the discussion on redevelopment of the Regent Par 3 Golf Course site through an online feedback form.

The online feedback form is now closed.  We received almost 500 submissions, which will help guide the development of proposal options for the redevelopment of the Regent Par 3 Golf Course.

Thanks to all who participated for helping shape our City!

  • Workshop May 25, 2017
