Councillor Chris Szarka is sitting for his first term as a member of Regina City Council, representing the residents of Ward 10.
Councillor Szarka is a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders where he has spent his 13-year Canadian Football League career. Before playing in the CFL, Councillor Szarka attended Eastern Illinois University.
Councillor Szarka is married to Serena and they have three children. Together they are involved in a number of charity and school events.
