Gateway to Regina
Regina's newest public art project has been installed. Designed by artist /architects Jyhling Lee and Paul Raff "Regina Gateways", is a sequence of 17 elegantly sculpted monolithic forms arrayed in a sweeping arch across the horizon. Inspired by the overarching Saskatchewan sky the rotating curving composition is reminiscent of the skeletal spine, in profile, of the plains buffalo. The gateway resonates with the prairie landscape and enriches the sense of identity and arrival. Read the complete project description.
