Treecycle
Keep the holidays green. Treecycle!
How trees are collected
The City provides tree drop-off depots throughout the city so residents can dispose of their trees. Over 3,000 Christmas trees are recycled into tinsel mulch annually. The program benefits the environment by:
- reducing the amount of organic material destined for the landfill; and
- producing useful mulch for residential yards and gardens.
