Treecycle

Keep the holidays green. Treecycle!

How trees are collected

The City provides tree drop-off depots throughout the city so residents can dispose of their trees. Over 3,000 Christmas trees are recycled into tinsel mulch annually. The program benefits the environment by:

  • reducing the amount of organic material destined for the landfill; and
  • producing useful mulch for residential yards and gardens.

Drop-off locations and hours of operation

Treecyle drop-off bins will be available at the following locations:

  • The City of Regina Landfill - January 1 to February 1 during normal landfill hours.

The following locations will be open 24 hrs a day from January 7 to January 29. These locations will be staffed on Saturday, January 14 and Saturday, January 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
