White Metal Goods Recycling Program
Stoves, fridges, ovens and other scrap metal are recycled at the landfill through the White Metal Goods and Scrap Metal program. Freon gas is extracted from refrigerators and the scrap metal is sold to a local company.
Annually, the White Metal Program recycles over 1,000 tonnes of material.
