Regina roundhouse, ca. 1920

This postcard shows Regina’s roundhouse with trains in front. Railroads have always been important to Regina – in fact, Regina would not exist without the railway, because it had very little to offer as a location. Regina is not located near a natural source of water and in its early days it was an ugly, flat, desolate stretch of prairie.
This particular postcard is blank on the back, but the front has the inscription, “Round House Regina, Sask.” on it.
