Future of Housing in Regina

In 2000, the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Housing was brought together to consult the public and stakeholders to make recommendations on how to address housing issues in Regina. The Task Force on Housing had 4 subcommittees:

• surburban housing
• downtown housing
• student housing
• inner city housing

The Committee heard from 58 individuals and organizations who shared their thoughts and solutions to housing issues that affected them. Their comments and suggestions were compiled into the report The Future of Housing in Regina – Laying the Groundwork which contains 81 recommendations.
