- Regina City Council received Administration's Report on Pesticides (Note: Large file over 2 MB and may take some time to download.)
- 2003

- Public consultations held in response to report. City Council approves a series of IPM recommendations concerning pest management.
- 2004

- Establishment of the Integrated Pest Management Advisory Committee and its IPM terms of reference . Committee meetings are open to the public: contact the City Clerk's Office at 306-777-7262 for the next meeting date.
- 2005

- IPM Advisory Committee updated the City of Regina's website to promote and educate residents about pest prevention, the use of reduced risk products, and the responsible use of pesticides.
- IPM Advisory Committee monitored and determined the impact to the City of Regina concerning major studies involving integrated pest management, such as Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency's re-evaluation of 2,4-D. The Agency reaffirmed that 2,4-D can be safely used on lawns and turf when label directions are followed.
- The IPM Advisory Committee monitored and provided input on various committees and scientific studies, such as Nature Saskatchewan’s Resolution for reducing children’s exposure to pesticides; the Medical Health Officers’ Council of Saskatchewan Report on steps to reduce pesticide exposures; Saskatchewan Environment's Green Forum on Human Society and the Environment attended by several Committee members; and the status of pesticide bylaws proposed by other municipalities.
