Fieldhouse Changes and Cancellations

Renovations:

The Fieldhouse underwent major renovations in 2006. The renovations include:

New sport floors in the Fieldhouse and change rooms
Expanded Strength & Conditioning Area to include new cardio and strength equipment
Infrared showers installed in the change rooms
A new cycling area for individual and group activities
New cafeteria furniture
Painting and maintenance

With these renovations, the City of Regina is now able to offer the following improved programs and services:

Personal trainers available for dry land & aquatic/individual & group
Strength & conditioning orientations on programs & equipment
Complete selection of fitness classes, including yoga, Pilates, cycling, bosu blast, fit ball (abs plus), athletic step, body blast, power circuits, cardio, tai chi and more
Running/walking track
Babysitting available weekday mornings
Rental space for sport groups

Amenities:

200 m oval track with 6 lanes (Impact-absorbing synthetic floor)
4 indoor tennis courts
5 badminton courts
Strength and Conditioning Area
Cycling area
Rotating treadwall ($1 for each 10 minute period of climbing time)
1 basketball court
2 classrooms available for booking

Lawson Long Course Schedule

The Lawson is scheduled to be at Long Course (50 metres) during the following days and times:

Monday 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Tuesday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Thursday No Long Course. Friday 5:30 a.m. to to 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. *Please note the above schedule is subject to change depending on sport user group training.
