Future Traffic Management & Parking Projects
The City of Regina’s approved capital budget lists the various traffic management and parking projects planned for the upcoming year, which may include the improvement, installation or establishment of:
- intersection signing
- pavement markings
- warning devices
- additional turning lanes
- traffic calming
- removal of sightline impediments
- parking restrictions
- loading zones
- parking meters
The following projects were planned in 2007-2008:
- 6th Avenue North & Albert Street Design and installation of an eastbound and westbound left-turn lane on 6th Avenue North
- Parking meter security Upgrade the canister found in each parking meter.

Traffic calming
To discourage speeding, the curb will be extended on Dewdney Avenue at Judge Bryant School.
