Civic Arts Funding Program
The Arts make a substantial contribution to the quality of life and vitality of a community. The City of Regina believes that one of the most effective and efficient means of facilitating the development of the arts in Regina is to provide funding support to non-profit arts organizations serving the city. In this way, arts organizations are encouraged to establish themselves, enhance their services, and provide their programming to the community. Accordingly, the City has implemented the Civic Arts Funding Program.
Your organization can apply for funding from the Civic Arts Funding Program in one of the following categories:
- Ongoing programming A series of art activities or events based on artistic excellence and professional practices.
- Community arts A series of art activities or events that are primarily participatory, community-based or educational in nature.
- Special projects A one-time initiative exploring or developing new art practices, activities or events.
- Contingency Applications for this category are only considered if funds are available and are to be used for new applicants, emergencies or for projects occurring after the annual deadline.
The program only funds art activities or events based in Regina, Saskatchewan.
