Priority Booking System and Service Levels
The Regina Paratransit System (RPS) books passengers on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-booking allows RPS to ensure trips are reserved according to the priority booking system and to plan routes to minimize travel time.
During morning and afternoon rush-hour periods, RPS vehicles are at full capacity. During these times, RPS schedules bookings following a priority basis:
First Priority |
Trips to work or employment (including service on boards and committees) |
Second Priority |
Trips to school |
Third Priority |
Trips to medical or dental appointments |
Fourth Priority |
Trips to go shopping, recreational activities, or social activities |
