Low floor bus service

Paratransit passengers are encouraged to use low-floor buses.  Tickets and passes used on paratransit can be used on regular transit.  You can even transfer from paratransit to regular transit and vice versa.  Be sure to ask for a transfer slip if you are paying cash. Similar to paratransit, each passenger may take one attendant at no charge. 

Low floor buses are accessible for most people who use wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and strollers.  They have:

• a level entrance with a flip ramp;
• two locations for those with wheelchairs or scooters at the front of the bus; and
• an accessible stop request signal.

Low floor bus service is available on:

• Route 1 (Dieppe/Broad North);
• Route 4 (Walsh Acres/Hillsdale);
• Route 8 (RCMP/Eastview); 
• Route 15 (Heritage); and
• Route 17 (Community Services Village).
