Special High School Service

Regina Transit provides Special high school service for students travelling to LeBoldus, Campbell Collegiate, Balfour Collegiate, Miller Comprehensive, Sheldon Williams Collegiate, Winston Knoll and Riffel high schools.

Route Map and Schedules begin September 5, 2017

The Special service provides one trip in the morning to school and one trip home in the afternoon. Morning arrival times are indicated on the map, while afternoon departure times are in the table.

Special 1 Travels through Gardiner Park, down College Avenue past Balfour and Miller before proceeding to Leboldus and Campbell.
Special 2 Travels through University Park, Varsity Park and Wascana View, down Broadway Avenue before proceeding to Leboldus and Campbell. 
Special 3 Travels through Woodland Grove and Greens on Gardiner, down College Avenue past Balfour and Miller before proceeding to Leboldus and Campbell. 
Special 6 Travels through Westhill to McCarthy Boulevard, north to Rochdale Boulevard and past Riffel and Winston Knoll.
Special 8 Travels through Harbour Landing, through Lakeview before proceeding to Sheldon Williams Collegiate. 
Special 9 Travels through Parkridge and Glencairn, down Park Street before proceeding to Balfour and Miller.

The Special High School buses will have "Special" on the destination sign.

The Special High School buses follow existing transit routes where possible; students can wait at existing bus stops. In areas where there regular Transit service is not provided, students can flag the bus to stop for them.

Fares

Exact Cash fare, rides and monthly passes will be accepted as fare payment on Special buses.

  • Youth cash fare - $2.75 (exact change required)
  • Youth rides - 10 for $24.50 or 20 for $49.00 (one ride is required for each way)
  • Youth 31 day pass - $66.00 and are valid from the date of purchase
