Low Floor Buses

Photo of someone using ramp on a low-floor bus to get off bus.Low floor buses are found on many routes and allow for easy access on and off the bus since low floor buses have:

  • No stairs to climb
  • The ability to ‘kneel’ to get close to curb level
  • A low-angle ramp that unfolds to allow wheelchairs, scooters, baby carriages, or carts to board the bus

If you use a mobility device to get around, you can secure your wheelchair or scooter at the front of the low-floor bus in designated securement areas. If you require help to secure yourself with the seatbelts on the bus, please bring an attendant to help. Your attendant will ride free.

The following routes have been designated low floor bus only:

  • Route 1 Dieppe - Broad North
  • Route 2 Argyle Park - Downtown
  • Route 4 SIAST - Walsh Acres
  • Route 8 RCMP - Eastview
  • Route 15 Heritage
  • Route 17 Community Services Village
  • All Sunday routes

If you are unable to use the regular transit system because of a physical or neurological-related disability, you are eligible for service through the Regina Paratransit Service.
