 Route 12 Detour - Elphinstone Street

On Saturday October 1st, Elphinstone Street will be closed between Dewdney Avenue and Saskatchewan Drive between 11 am and 6 pm. 

Route 12 Mount Royal will detour from Albert Street to Dewdney Avenue back on route.

Route 12 Varsity park will detour from Dewdney Avenue to Albert Street back on route.

The following bus stops will be closed:

  • #881 Elphinstone Street at Dewdnwy Avenue (SB)
  • #882 Elphinbstone Street at 10th Avenue (SB)
  • #883 Saskatchewan Drive at Athol Street (EB)
  • #884 Saskatchewan Drive at Cameron Street (EB)
  • #1139 Saskatchewan Drive at Cameron Street (WB)
  • #1140 Saskatchewan Drive at Athol Street (WB)
  • #1141 Saskatchewan Drive at 10th Avenue (NB)
  • # 1142 Saskatchewan Drive at 9th Avenue (NB)

Route 7 , 9 and 21 Detour

On Friday September 30, the following detours will be in effect.

Route 7 Glencairn will detour from Dewdney Avenue to Oxford Street to Cambridge Avenue back on route.

Route 9 Albert Park will detour from Cambridge to Oxford to Dewdney Avenue back on route.

Route 21 University will detour from Cambridge Avenue to Oxford Street to Dewdney Avenue to Cavendish Street back on route.

Bus stops closed on this detour are:

  • #751 - 9th Avenue at Oxford Street
  • #752 - Cavendish Street at 9th Avenue
  • #514 - 9th Avenue at Cavendish Street

 

Albert Street North Bound Closure

On Wednesday September 28 to 30, Albert Street North Bound will be closed at 6th Avenue N to 9th Avenue N.

Detours are as follows:

Route 1 Broad North will detour from 6th Avenue N to McIntyre Street to 7th Avenue North and back on route.

Route 2 Woodland Grove will detour from Angus Street to 6th Avenue North to McIntyre Street to 7th North to Smith Street to 6th Avenue North and back on route.

Route 2 Argle Park will detour from Albert Street to 6th Avenue North to McIntyre Street to 7th Avenue North to Smith Street to 6th Avenue N to Angus Street and back on route.

Route 5 Uplands will detour from 6th Avenue North to McIntyre Street to 7th Avenue N and back on route.

Route 5 Downtown will detour from 7th Avenue N to McIntyre Street to 6th Avenue N and back on route.

Route 6 Ross Industrial will detour from 6th Avenue North to McIntyre Street to 7th Avenue North and back on route.

Route 6 Westhill will detour from 7th Avenue North to McIntyre Street to 6th Avenue N and back on route.

Route 40 Albert North will detour from 5th Avenue North to McIntyre Street to 7th Avenue North to Lorne Street to 9th North to McIntyre Street to Ring Road to Winnipeg Street to Ring Road and back on route.

Route 40 Albert South will detour from Ring Road to Winnipeg Street to 7th Avenue North to Broad Street to 9th Avenue North to Lorne Street to 7th North to McIntyre Street to 5th Avenue North to Albert Street and back on route.

Broad Street Lane Restriction

On Monday, September 26, 2016, the south bound lanes on Broad Street will be restricted for regular traffic, and closed for Transit from Saskatchewan Drive to 11th Avenue. The restriction is to install a permanent curb bulb to replace the jersey barriers on the north west corner of Broad Street and 11th Avenue.

The restriction and installation are expected to last two weeks.

Routes 1 Dieppe, 4 Hillsdale, 5 Downtown and 10 RCMP will detour from Broad Street to Saskatchewan Drive to Osler Street to 11th Avenue and back on route.

Route 12 Detours

Route 12 Mount Royal will detour from McDonald Street to 19th Avenue to Harvey Street to Central Street to Broadway Avenue and back on route.

Route 12 Varsity Park will detour from Broadway Avenue to Winnipeg Street to 19th Avenue to McDonald Street and back on route.

 

Route #40 Albert Express South Bound

Route #40 Albert Express South Bound will detour from Pasqua Street to Pasqua Gate East to Sangster Boulevard to Argyle Street North to Ring Road and back on route.
