Detours & Delays
DETOUR: Lorne Street Construction
Due to construction on the 1800 block of Lorne Street and the closure of the intersection of Lorne Street and 11th Avenue, the following detour will be in effect beginning June 8, 2013.
Buses will not be using 11th Avenue stops between Albert Street and Broad Street. All buses on 11th Avenue will be detoured. All buses entering downtown via Albert Street will use Saskatchewan Drive to Hamilton Street to 11th Avenue and then resume their usual routes.
These buses will have a transfer point on 1700 Hamilton Street (between 11th Avenue and Saskatchewan Drive):

Back Stop:

DETOUR: Albert Street to Sask Drive to Hamilton Street to 11th Avenue back on route. The following routes will complete this detour:
- #1 Broad North, #2 Argyle Park, #3 University, #4 Walsh Acres, #7 Glencairn, #8 Eastview, #9 Parkridge, #11 Normanview, #13 Mount Royal and #23 University Express

This detour will cause the following bus stops to be out of service in the downtown, including all bus stops on 11th Ave and 12th Avenue between Albert Street and Broad Street.

Buses will be detoured until mid-July when construction is complete.
DETOUR: University Park Drive
Starting June 16, Unviersity Park Drive will be closed from Truesdale Drive to Arens Road.
The #10 Woodland Grove will detour Arens Road to University Park Drive to Quance Street to Truesdale Drive to University Park Drive back on route.
The #12 Varsity Park will detour Truesdale Drive to Quance STreet to University Park Drive to Arens Road back on route.
This is expected to last one week.
DETOUR: 3800 Rae Street
Starting June 18, the intersection of 25th Avenue and Rae Street will be closed by SaskPower for repair.
The #3 University, #7 Whitmore Park, #9 Albert Park, #11 Normandy Heights, #13 South Lakeview ad #18 Harbour Landing wll detour 25th Aveenue to Retallack Street to 26th Avenue to Rae Street (using temporary stops) back on route.
The #3 Sherwood Estates, #7 Glencairn, #9 Parkridge, #11 Normanview, #13 Mount Royal, #18 Harbour Landing will use temporary stops along Rae Street and will then detour 26th Avenue to Retallack to 25th back on route.
This is expected to last one day.
DETOUR: Albert Street & 12th Ave
Starting June 3rd, the intersection of Albert Street and Victoria Avenue will be closed to Transit.
The northbound buses include #4 Walsh Acres, #7 Glencairn, #8 Eastview, #9 Parkridge and #13 Mount Royal and will detour 13th Avenue to Angus Street to 12th Avenue to Albert Street back on route.
- Bus stop #0403 will be out of service.
- Bus stop #0404 will be out of service.
The southbound buses include #4 SIAST, #7 Whitmore Park, #8 RCMP, #9 Albert Park and #13 South Lakeview and will detour 12th Avenue to Angus Street to Victoria Avenue to Albert Street back on route.
- Bus stop #0360 will be out of service.
The #15 Heritage will detour 13th Avenue to Angus Street to Victoria Avenue back on route.
This is expected to last for two weeks.
RESTRICTION: Gordon Road from Lewvan Drive to Albert Street
Starting May 27th, the City will begin sewer, water and concrete repairs along Gordon Road. Traffic will be maintained in both directions during the work, but may be restricted at times to one lane. Delays may occur.
This is expected to last until late June, weather permitting.
RESTRICTION: 2500 Victoria Avenue
Starting May 21st, the 2500 block of Victoria Avenue will be restricted due to construction.
This will affect the #11 Normanview and 913 Downtown on Sunday.
Traffic in both directions will be redirected to the east bound side of Victoria Avenue.
This is expected to last until June 18.
DETOUR: McIntosh Street
Effective June 17th, McIntosh Street N will be closed due to repair work. There will be full closure northbound between Sherwood Drive and 9th Avenue north and full closure southbound between 9th Avenue north and 7th Avenue north. 7th Avenue north southbound to Sherwood Drive will be open to traffic.
The #6 Downtown will detour from 7th Ave N to McCarthy Boulevard to Sherwood Drive, back on route.

The # 6 Westhill will detour from Sherwood Drive to McCarthy Boulevard, to 7th Avenue North back on route.

The #11 Normanview will be detouring Lorne Street to 12th Avenue to Albert Street back on route.
