Special High School Service
Regina Transit provides special high school service to youth who live in southeast Regina. Students living in Gardiner Park, Woodland Grove, Wascana View, Varsity Park and University Park can take the special high school service to attend LeBoldus High School or Campbell Collegiate.
Students from Balfour Collegiate and Miller Comprehensive High School who live in the southeast can also use this service.
Route map and schedule
The special service provides one trip in the morning to school and one trip home in the afternoon. There are three different routes as shown on the route map. The schedule for the times that the buses travel on these routes is shown on the left side of the route map.
Students going to Balfour Collegiate and Miller High School who live in the southeast can also use the special buses to access these schools. Please note that the special service is designed to accommodate the school day at Campbell and LeBoldus, Balfour and Miller students will be dropped off at their school at 8:05am and will be picked up about 3:40pm.
Balfour and Miller students should also look at the schedule for regular transit routes 10 and 12 to determine if these routes will work out better for them. (Route 10 Schedule, Route 12 Schedule)
The Special High School buses follow existing transit routes, where possible, and students can wait at the existing bus stops. In areas where there is no regular transit service, students can flag the bus to stop for them. The buses from the neighbourhoods north of Arcola Avenue (Bus #1 and Bus #3) will travel on College Avenue. Buses from the neighbourhoods south of Arcola Avenue (Bus #2) will use Broadway Avenue.
Students from Glencairn and Parkridge must take the regular transit service to the Victoria Square Mall and transfer to the Special High School bus at the Mall, as they have done in previous years.
The Special High School buses will have "Special" on the destination sign.
