Characteristics
Height and Spread Cotoneasters can grow up to 4 metres in height and may have a crown width between 2.5 and 4 meters.

Preferred growing conditions Grows best in soils with normal pH and lots of moisture that receive full sun or light shade. Does not grow well in poorly-drained soils or in drought conditions.
Form Cotoneaster branches grow out and arch upwards, creating an open look.
Flower/seeds Pinkish-white flowers cluster in groups of 2 to 5 along the branch.
Leaf Cotoneaster leaves are oval shaped with a clean edge, about 3 cm in length, with gray hairs on the underside of dark blue-green leaf.
Bark/wood Bark is glossy brown.
Berries Flowers turn into a rosy-red berry.
Pruning Prune to keep shape and remove dead limbs.
