Chickweed
Height and Spread:
Chickweed is only a few centimetres high but spreads horizontally along the ground.
Growing Season:
Chickweed can germinate throughout the year but has 2 main flushes; one is early spring while the other is late fall. Each plant may produce over 15,000 seeds after flowering.

Keep the area dry and sunny as chickweed prefers to grow in shady areas where there is moist, heavy, rich soil.

Use a rake to remove chickweed before it flowers/seeds.
