Industrial Use Application
An industrial use application is a request to Planning & Development to determine the environmental impact of your project as part of the application review process.
Please call or visit Planning and Development to review your project and refer to the Zoning Bylaw No. 9250 and its associated map to determine your location’s zone and the proposed uses/conditions allowed for that zone.
To apply
To submit your industrial use application, please read and complete the Industrial Use Application Package . (Note: Large file over 2 MB and may take some time to download.) This application package contains:
- instructions how to complete the application form
- the application form itself
- a description of how applications are reviewed and evaluated
You must also include your application fee with your Industrial Use Application form.
If you are successful
Projects may be approved or approved with conditions.
The decision to approve an application will be based in part on the assessment of the submitted information, a possible site visit and input from the project review process.
If you are unsuccessful
If your application is denied, you have the right to submit an appeal to the Planning Appeals Committee of the Saskatchewan Municipal Board within 20 days of receipt of the decision.
If an other person feels aggrieved by the decision involving your project, they too can also appeal to the Planning Appeals Committee of the Saskatchewan Municipal Board.
