Zoning Appeal
A zoning appeal is a request to the Development Appeals Board for:
- the relaxation of certain zoning bylaw development standards such as building setback from property lines, the maximum size of a building and front yard parking
- the consideration of the direction contained in an Order to Comply
To apply
Please read and complete the Zoning Appeal Application Package and submit it and the applicable fee to the Office of the City Clerk (15 th floor of City Hall, 2476 Victoria Avenue). You will be informed of the hearing date for your appeal by office staff.
If you are successful
If your zoning appeal is successful, it will not change the zoning of your property; the appeal decision means the Board has decided to relax the zoning bylaw regulations that you requested or was identified in the Order to Comply.
If you are unsuccessful
If you - or an abutting neighbour/interested third party - do not agree to the decision made by the Development Appeals Board, you have the right to submit an appeal to the Planning Appeals Committee of the Saskatchewan Municipal Board within 20 days of receipt of the decision.
