Recycle
Often items can be recycled, either in your home or at specialized recycling centres:
- Choose items that have been made from recycled goods, especially paper products.
- Compost kitchen waste to use in your garden.
- Reuse old milk cartons and pop bottles to create bird feeders or use as plant pots.
- Choose glass or aluminum over plastic since glass and aluminum can be recycled over and over again.
- Drop off paper to be recycled using the City of Regina’s Big Blue Bin program.
- Drop off cans, bottles, old batteries, ink cartridges, tires, automotive oil and electronics at authorized recycling locations.
- Take empty glass jars that have been washed to the City's landfill to be recycled.
- There are numreous options to recycle everything from magazines to cars
