Prohibit and Regulate and Control the Use of Barbed Wire
The Prohibit and Regulate and Control the Use of Barbed Wire Bylaw was established to regulate the use of barbed wire.
- Barbed wire on a fence shall be at a height of six feet from ground level.
- No barbed wire shall protrude upon public areas (highways, sidewalks, boulevards). Barbed wire use must be wholly situated upon the owner’s property.
There are fines in place for individuals and/or corporations who do not comply to the regulations within the bylaw. Fines can reach up to $500.
