11th Avenue – Hamilton Street to Cornwall Street

As a result of the winter storm that roared through Regina, the pedway located just outside the Cornwall Centre on 11th Avenue, sustained damage from the wind and is a safety concern. Crews have cleaned up the debris and secured the pedway.

Drivers and pedestrians may want to consider alternate routes as 11th Avenue between Hamilton Street and Cornwall Street is closed to traffic and pedestrians.

Starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, January 15, a private contractor will repair the damage to the pedway. The work is anticipated to take one day to complete. Once complete, 11th Avenue will reopen to traffic and pedestrians.

Transit riders are encouraged to check Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.
