9th Avenue North – Lorne Street to Broad Street
The rehabilitation project along 9th Avenue North between Lorne Street and Broad Street is progressing to the final phase which is paving. This project is being completed to improve pedestrian ramps, curbs and gutters, as well as resurfacing the roadway.
Phase two starts at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 24 with removing the asphalt surface followed by paving. Drivers may want to consider alternate routes as 9th Avenue North will be closed to traffic between Lorne Street and Broad Street. Watch for detours.
Local access to Kleisinger Crescent will be maintained.
Phase two is expected to be complete in two weeks, weather dependent.
