Albert Street – 1st Avenue to 1st Avenue North
Starting Tuesday, September 14, CN Railway will be upgrading the rail crossing at Albert Street between 1st Avenue and 1st Avenue North, weather dependent. Following CN’s work, City crews will repair the asphalt at the crossing.
Starting at 8 a.m., drivers may want to consider alternate routes as traffic on Albert Street will be detoured for three days between 1st Avenue and 1st Avenue North. Access to local businesses will be maintained.
The crossing is anticipated to reopen to traffic at 7 a.m. on Friday, September 17.
Transit routes will be affected. Riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.
