Albert Street – 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue
Starting Thursday, September 2, CN Railway will be upgrading the rail crossing at Albert Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue, weather dependent. Following CN’s work, City crews will repair the asphalt at the crossing.
Starting at 8 a.m., drivers will need to consider alternate routes as Albert Street will be closed to traffic for three days between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue. Access to local businesses will be maintained.
The crossing will reopen to traffic at 7 a.m. on Sunday, September 5.
Transit routes will be affected. Riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.
