Albert Street South Project wraps for 2019 from 25th Avenue to Albert Street South Service Roads
Phase one of the Albert Street South project is complete for the 2019 construction season. Traffic restrictions will be removed this weekend on Albert Street South between 25th Avenue and the Albert Street South service roads.
This phase of the project completed isolated concrete work along Albert Street South to improve sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and medians, as well as install pedestrian ramps and bus stop pads.
In 2020, phase two of this project will include upgrades to the intersection at Parliament Avenue, including installing new traffic signals, as well as paving work in this area. The City will advise residents about this work and necessary closures and restrictions at that time.
The City of Regina thanks residents and businesses for their understanding and patience while infrastructure work was being completed.
