Albert Street - Victoria Avenue
Restoration work continues at the 1971 Albert Street location to ensure safety to residents. As part of this work, crews will be inspecting the water valves and lines, cleaning debris from the drainage system, as well as replacing a fire hydrant at the northeast corner of the intersection. Work will be completed in two phases.
Starting at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, drivers may want to consider alternate routes as Albert Street between 13th Avenue and 12th Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction. This phase is expected to be complete in three hours.
The second phase of work starts on Saturday, September 14, to replace the hydrant. Drivers may want to consider alternate routes as northbound Albert Street at Victoria Avenue will be restricted to one lane. Work is expected to be complete by end of day Sunday.
This work is dependent on weather or unforeseen circumstances.
