Biweekly Garbage Collection Starts November 4 Sign up for reminders your way!
Starting on Monday, November 4, curbside garbage collection changes from every week to every other week. By switching to biweekly garbage collection in the winter months, the City encourages residents to reduce, reuse and recycle.
Never miss your collection day! Visit Regina.ca to sign up to receive text, email, voicemail or iCal reminders. Simply type in your address to select the reminder that you want to receive. You can also print off your personalized collection calendar.
Important things to note:
- Garbage collection days remain the same.
- Recycling collection schedule remains the same.
- Weekly collection will return December 23, 2019 – January 3, 2020.
- If your garbage or recycling collection day falls on December 25, it will be collected on Saturday, December 21.
Not sure how to properly dispose of an item? Use the Waste Wizard tool! Simply type in the name of the waste item and it will tell you how to recycle or dispose of it.
There are some properties that require additional garbage collection service. The City accommodates this by offering an additional garbage cart for a fee. Residents can request an additional cart by calling Service Regina at 306-777-7000.
