Broad Street North – Elmview Road Intersection
Work on the rehabilitation project along Broad Street North between Elmview Road and Catherwood Crescent continues. This project is being completed to improve sections of concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, as well as resurface the roadway for a smoother driving experience.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, crews will pave the intersection of Broad Street North and Elmview Road starting on one side of the road and moving to the other side when complete. Drivers may want to consider alternate routes as traffic will be restricted. The intersection is expected to be complete in four days.
Paving the final sections of Broad Street North will be completed in September and the City will advise residents as the work progresses.
Detours remain in place for drivers accessing Kensington Greens/Uplands Addition. Watch for signs.
